CBI Director Ranjit Sinha on Friday appreciated the ‘very professional job’ done by his officers who had probed the 2009 Uttarakhand fake encounter case in which 18 police personnel of the State were convicted for their involvement in the killing of an MBA student. “It was a criminal conspiracy hatched by the police itself. So our boys have done a very professional job during investigation and also during the trial when we had to secure witness and get their evidence recorded.
