CBI arrests a Chief Vigilance Inspector of Railway, one Advocate and 13 others. The Central Bureau of Investigation has today arrested a Chief Vigilance Inspector of South Western Railway, Bangalore, one Advocate and 13-candidates in an alleged leakage of question papers & answer keys of Railway Recruitment Board examination for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot, Telecommunication Gr.III, Technician Gr.III etc. A case was registered u/s.120-B read with 420 IPC and u/s.7, 8 and 13(2) read with 13(12)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act against, Divisional Personnel Officer, South Western Railway, Bangalore; Chief Vigilance Inspector, South Western Railway, Bangalore; said Advocate ; one Private Person and other unknown public servants & private persons in connection with alleged leakage of question papers and answer keys of Railway Recruitment Board examination for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot, Telecommunication Gr.III, Technician Gr.III etc scheduled on 29.06.2014. Searches were today conducted at the premises of accused and other locations; cash and other incriminating documents were recovered.
