On the front end we fund states and localities to ensure the infrastructure is in place to identify and respond to potential threats from the front lines. Once a possible threat is identified, our laboratories provide testing to confirm cases and identify specific strains, accepting samples not just from the US, but from around the world. Our Strategic National Stockpile is ready at a moments notice to ship out life saving medical supplies should the need arise.
