CERT ALERT: Lincoln Tech Northeast will host Certification Exams on Wednesday, June 11th, 2014. Registration to begin at 3:00, exams to begin @ 3:30 p.m. The following exams are being offered: A+ (CNS/CNST) *RMA (MA & MAAT/MAT) *CMAS (MAA/MOA) *Please review the following information regarding the certification process for Allied Health: AMT (American Medical Technologists) certification requires that an application be completed and submitted. Once the AMT determines that the candidate is eligible to schedule the exam, an “Admission Letter” containing the candidate ID will be sent to the candidate. We cannot schedule a candidate for an exam without the candidate ID number or knowledge of approval. The AMT website address is . If you completed the MAA or MOA program, indicate that you want to take the CMAS (Certified Medical Administrative Specialist) exam. If you completed the MA program, indicate that you want to take the RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) exam. If you completed the MAAT or MAT program, you should be eligible to take either/both exams. It will take 4-6 weeks for the AMT to process the application. If you are interested, you must forward your contact information (Name, Address, Phone numbers & email address) to MKina@lincolntech by Wednesday, June 4th, 2014. If you possess a testing ID number (i.e. CompTia, AMT), forward that as well. Students scheduling the A+ exam must also include applicable voucher number. Seats are limited so dont wait to make your reservation!! ***If certification is obtained within six months of graduation, you are eligible for reimbursement.
