CHALLENGE!!!! Editing photos with digital photography is a benefit, but not necessarily a necessity. Digital prints and shooting in Raw will allow you to take advantage of a larger spectrum of available light captured by the cameras sensor. Being able to manipulate some control over that light in post processing can make the difference to otherwise underexposed or overexposed photos. Learning the tools of the trade should be secondary to trying to take a well composed and clean photo. Yet having tools is never a bad thing. There are plenty of programs and tablet/phone apps that are excellent for editing photos in a pinch. Here is the first challenge. Edit the original picture to be more interesting and maybe a better composition. Attached is the edit i created with Iphone apps . the two apps are free- Snapseed and Tadaa repost your edit.
