Diego Simeone took a very big risk by fielding injured Diego Costa who lasted on 9mins on the pitch.......... Iker Casillas made a costly mistake that couldve even cost him the number one spot shirt in the Spannish national team,the goal was his fault..no doubt........ It was only 3 players that have won the Champions league before in Real Madrid.:Casillas,CRONALDO and Xabi Alonso.,..,while David Villa was the only Atletico that had won it........... Referee and his assistants gave a good account of themselves...nobody should complain about 5mins added time....... Marcelo and Isco substitutions changed the game entirely for Madrid..... Sergio Ramos equaliser won the match for Madrid.... Atletico Madrid players were all weak and demoralized in the extra time... Di Maria doggedness made him the stand out player of the night... Gareth Bale goal made him the first welsh man to score in a UCL final match. CRONALDO goal put him ahead of MESSI in Champions league all-time highest goal scorer... Diego Simeone showed his anger by coming to attack Varane right inside the pitch after the french youngster kicked a ball in Atletico dugout..hahaha... This is the first ever Derby clash in a champions league final...
