CHARITY CLINIC: WIN TIN FOUNDATION LAUNCHES PROJECT ------------------------------------------------------ U Win Tin Foundation has launched its very first charity clinic at Pazundaung Township, Tuesday. U Win Tin, a co-founder of the National League for Democracy, was a Myanmar journalist and a political prisoner. He set up U Win Tin Foundation to help former political prisoners and their families in 2012. In this clinic, 6 doctors will be help political prisoners and their families for their medical care requirements. Aside from the clinic, the foundation also provides financial assistance for education of children of political prisoners and has so far donated over 92,000 dollars for that cause. This clinic will run 6 days and the Monday to Friday is 4 to 6 pm and the Saturday is 9 to 12 pm.
