CHEWY!!!! GIANT THANK YOU! I just could not call everyone or get on facebook personally the minute the boys brought Chewy home because the vet agreed to meet me within 10 minutes of me getting him back. So I had ten minutes to get from Spring Grove to Wonder Lake. And I wanted to get the word out FAST! Thanks to Doctor at Wonder Lake Veterinary Clinic who opened his clinic off hours! wonderlakeveterinaryclinic/ and The Prairie Club in Spring Grove for letting us search and set up traps and the Occupants at the Farmhouse, all keeping an eye out for him after we told them it was our dog! I went back to the farmhouse and to the campground and spread the word to all of them that Chewy was found. They were amazed. None of them believed it would end well. They hoped for a miracle though. Thanks to Pamela Meland, Backyard Orphans, for loaning two traps to us and looking. And Melanie Fay Sawdey, her dog Jinx, Carol Cominsky, Julie Bartkus, Kelly Diane Fernandez, Liliana Fernandez, Kelly Christine Blauw, Brian Scott Thompson, Tim & Jenny (brians neighbors), Kelsey Wyland, Celine Rader, Brant Rader, Braesen Rader, Nick Kranz, Chris Kranz, Katie Staggs, Sarah Bassett, Ken & his dog, our dog Toby; I hope I am not forgetting anyone. Staples in McHenry who dropped everything to print my flyers asap! Please forgive me if I did. Alexis E. Anderson and I both thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts. And a GIANT HUG and handshake to the three high school seniors who attend Grant High School, Fox Lake, who thought they saw something jumping in tall grass as they were 4-wheeling on ATVs in the area and didnt just shrug it off, but checked it out, caught him, and they said he was very calm riding the ATV. Finally worn out & wanted to be saved I guess. And they went out of their way & brought him back home using his tags/address: Mike Lehman, Jerry Weimer, and Drake Harrington. They are true blue HEROS! They were smiling so big too just knowing they had done something to help another person. I am so impressed that they took the time to do that. I split reward between the 3 of them. I got to meet Jerrys dad and also express my gratitude. Their parents should be proud of them!
