CHOPPER IS STILL MISSING! He is a two year old intact male and has been missing since January 5th. We are now at the point where we think he may have been taken or wandered farther than we thought, he could possibly have been on the trail of a female in heat and followed her home. He went missing from the mountain on back side of the river between Afton and Nineveh on the morning of January 5th, near Deposit and Sanford side of town limits. He got loose with another dog and she returned that day but he did not. Chopper is friendly, he will come to his name and has had all his shots, he is wearing a dulled blaze orange collar which has his current rabies tag attached. He is a big boy. If anyone has taken him in, which at this point is what we fervently hope with the weather the way it has been, we are letting them know that we are thankful that they have kept him fed and warm. his Momma and Poppa miss him terribly. We are asking no questions and offering a reward for his safe return.
