CHRISTMAS CAROLS ARE CANCELLED Over this past week we have been watching weather forecasts closely. These forecasts have not changed over this period of time and indicate that there is a high possibility of severe storms on Saturday afternoon and into the evening. As the carols are an event to be held on the oval, the risk to the safety of all involved is our priority. The decision has been made after much consultation and consideration that the Christmas carols will be cancelled for 2014. We understand that this is disappointing for all involved but we feel that making an early decision is the most appropriate action. Our sincere thanks go to all the volunteers who have been able to offer their support. These events always depend on the generosity of our school community who volunteer their time. Thanks to Josh Green, our Chaplain, who has spent considerable time and effort organising the event for the school community and our P&C who have been supporting Josh. We are investigating the option of rescheduling the children’s performances to a time next week. Nicky Taylor | Administration Officer
