CINDERELLA frontman Tom Keifer joined HALESTORM on stage this past Saturday, July 5 at Taste Of Minnesota in St. Paul, Minneosta to perform the song Heres To Us. Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be seen below. HALESTORM singer Lzzy Hale tweeted the next day: It was a pleasure singing with Tom @tomkeifermusic last night! What a powerhouse this man is! Keifer previously performed with HALESTORM in September 2013 in York, Pennsylvania and in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In a 2010 interview with Lithium Magazine, Lzzy admitted that she once had a crush on Keifer and fantasized about marrying him. She said: This is going to sound so girly, but the first thing that attracted me to CINDERELLA was Tom Keifer. It was those magnificent lips. They [CINDERELLA] were my version of the BACKSTREET BOYS or SPICE GIRLS. But while my friends were into those bands because they were our generation, I would be watching CINDERELLA. I have the video collection of Night Songs [CINDERELLAs 1986 debut album] and I would watch these videos and be, like, I am going to marry Tom Keifer, not realizing at the time that he was slightly out of my reach. Theyre [CINDERELLA] from the same area [of Pennsylvania] that were from and by the time we got into the scene they were out. She added: Well, some day I’ll meet you [Tom Keifer] and confess all of these things to you. Hale told Loudwire in a recent interview that HALESTORM is almost done with recording its third album. Hale explained, We have a lot of really great songs. I think we finally cracked the code for this next record . . . Thats what I love about writing records, you dont really know what you want to say on a record when you begin writing it. At least we dont. Its always halfway through the process and then all of a sudden, the light bulb goes off and the floodgates open. HALESTORM debuted two new songs — Heartbreaker and Mayhem — at shows in Tennessee and England this past spring. The group began writing its third album in January, after completing more than 20 months of touring behind 2012s The Strange Case Of… Keifers debut solo album, The Way Life Goes, sold 5,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 78 on The Billboard 200 chart.
