Cirque du Soleil is seeking a dramatic theatre actor capable of embodying a senior storyteller for its new arena-touring show inspired by the world of James Cameron history-making motion picture, AVATAR. The actor’s charismatic presence and strong baritone voice captivates the audience throughout the journey. Duration of contract: 1 year starting November 2015, with an annual renewal option. Character traits: Male senior leader (40-50 years old); Height: 5’11” (1,80 m) and up; Thin build; Baritone voice. Requirements: Ability to portray character traits; Dramatic theatre actor with strong stage presence and charisma; Ability to captivate the audience by narrating the story; Proper voice projection; Good physical condition; Solid and varied stage experience; Any object manipulation skills or singing an asset; Not afraid of heights.
