CLEVELAND: Owners of Marcelitas Mexican Food & Drink in Hudson say theyre committed to honoring veterans of the U.S. military. So theyre making an ongoing offer to those who have served in any branch. Owners Kevin and Beth Killeen have decided to show their appreciation to all military veterans, says family member Tim Killeen. All veterans, every Tuesday, will enjoy their meal at a 50 percent discount on all food items, Tim Killeen said in an email. They believe it is a small token for them to say thanks for their service to our country, he added. The Hudson landmark just celebrated its 35th anniversary, and is in the process of freshening its menu, including new offerings in the popular Cantina, and has introduced several gluten-free options. Happy hours in La Cantina are 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday.
