CLIMATE change education plays a crucial role in bridging the information gap between children and students. Education Ministry permanent secretary Dr Brij Lal said at the Crest Agriculture Show in Lautoka yesterday climate change affected more than the weather, it referred to seasonal changes over long periods of time. "These climate patterns play a fundamental role in shaping natural ecosystems, human economies and culture that depend on them," said Dr Lal. "For our children, climate change is an issue among politicians and higher levels of NGOs. There is a need to filter knowledge on climate change to our children in languages they understand."
