CLOSE DLSZ (DE LA SALLE SANTIAGO ZOBEL SCHOOL): I am appalled by the issues raised by the Ayala Alabang Village Association (AAVA) regarding the worsening traffic conditions allegedly caused by the DLSZ students who are not residents of AAVA. I believe that is time for DLSZ to transfer to a more suitable area. I think Alabang has enough schools for the rich and the middle class. I think it is time for a school to be established in the area that is for the poor and accessible and affordable by the poor. As far as I understand the current situation, DLSZ is spending more resources for the rich than for the poor because of AAVAs rules and regulations. Let us turn the situation around. We do not need the Ayala Alabang Village Association (AAVA). We were there 36 years ago before any house was built in the area. They have used La Salle to gain prestige and value for property all for selfish gains. As the Gospel of Matthew says, Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces.
