CLUB NOTES 30th APRIL North Board U-21 semi-final against neighbours Killererin fixed for Tuam Stadium this Friday night at 7pm. Please support the team. If the team wins, they may be in action again on the Bank Holiday Monday, all supporters please take note. Minors were defeated by Mountbellew/Moylough in Monivea in the County A league last week. We have now qualified for League Shield Final v. Tuam Stars, which will be played in May. U-16s defeated Kilkerrin/Clonberne in the league last week. This week’s league game is against Ballinasloe. Our U-12 team had a great win over St Brigids from Roscommon in the Easyfix League last Saturday. Twenty five players were split into 2 teams with Team 1 winning 7-06 to 2-02 and Team 2 scoring 2 goals in the last minute to triumph 6-04 to 3-11. Many thanks to St Brigids for the hospitality afterwards. Team 1: JP Newe, Killian Rabbitte, Jamie Burke, Gavin Keane, Niall Farragher, Jamie Collins, Darragh Burke, Mark Crehan, Sean Lydon, Thady Moran, Daire King, Gavin Kelly. Team 2: Eoghan Bowman, Adam Wynne, James Quirke, Thomas Brogan, Anthony Keane, Shane Dolly, Glenn Forde, Luke Forde, Dylan Cosgrove, Keith O Reilly, Matthew Lally, Keith Devaney, Oisin McHugh. Training continues each Monday night at 7pm in Monivea. Registration forms are now due back for the forthcoming year. The Club begins its Saturday morning Bobbyjo Summer Coaching Programme this Saturday, May 3rd, in Monivea with registration at 9.45am. All girls and boys in the parish from Under-5 (born 2009) to Under-12 (born 2002) are invited to come along. We look forward to welcoming many new players to the club on Saturday and also to seeing girls and boys again that were with us last year. Refreshments will be provided for players each week with parents encouraged to enjoy a cup of coffee in the Stand while the coaching takes place. Registration fee for both girls and boys is €20 each. No Jackpot winner nor no Match three from the weekend Lotto draw where the numbers picked were 9, 21, 22, 28. Next week’s draw worth €5100 will take place in Ryans. Lotto captains for May are Paddy Mannion’s team.
