CMG in Bloom 2014 – Winners announced! CMG recently held its annual ‘CMG in Bloom’ gardening competition. Our judging panel, made up of Catherine Scott (Operations Director), Matthew Burman from Fengates in Redhill and Michael Forzani (Estates Manager) had 10 fantastic entries from services in both England and Wales to choose from and, after much consideration... we are pleased to bring you the results! BEST PRESENTED GARDEN – David Flinn, Kevin Hutcherson, Terence Price, Marc Chamberlain and Christopher White from Bluetts BEST FLOWERS – Glencourt BEST IMPROVEMENT – Michael Balding and Patrick Lacy from Shardeloes BEST SERVICE USER INVOLVEMENT – Rogerstone We received several entries for the category ‘best sensory garden’ but there simply wasn’t enough information about the sensory aspects for us to make a decision. So, instead we have split the prize for this category and would like to give special thanks for individual efforts to Rowland Derrick from Cwm Hyfryd and to Eric Dexter at Smitham Downs Road! Congratulations to all the winners, your prizes will be with you soon! Well done and thank you to all who entered this year’s competition, we look forward to seeing your entries next year where we be including a new category...BEST VEGETABLES!
