CMT, MY EXPERIENCE WITH PATCHING: Recently, I was called out to a schooling barn, where over 40 horses reside. Some are boarded, some are part of the school training team. Three horses were brought out to me for a pain management evaluation. The first horse, an aged school horse, was sore in his back legs...walking and trotting more stiffly than he should be. After placing a set of Aculife Pain management patches on his sore areas, he was moving much more readily and smoothly. A second horse demonstrated pain in the poll area (just behind the ears) and in the thoracic area (chest). He shook his head vigorously and backed away when touched in those areas. With just two sets of Aculife patches, the horse didnt flinch, move or bunch up when touched in those areas. This change occurred within just a minute or two. A third horse, very excitable and nervous..who whinnied for her barn mate constantly, quieted down and never whinnied again after we placed the AcuLife patches on the calming point..just behind her eyes. The barn manager and head school trainer was amazed at the change. They said that life was going to be so much different now that this horse was calmer! No one wanted to work with that horse before and they looked forward to working without drama in the near future. -Kathy, Massage & Restorative Therapies
