CMV counts improving daily and platelets were back to a much healthier place today. Very encouraging and though not certain yet, it appears they may move back into line for the bone marrow transplant 2 weeks after the CMV is completely gone which they are hopeful to be at his next appointment, so please be praying for continued resolution of the CMV. Additionally, Wilkes has been protesting the taking of his oral medications lately which his treatment team says is common for all of their patients, is a phase that will pass, and not to be too worried about it. However, one of the medications he is spitting out is is reflux medication, and since he started refusing to take it he has now begun not just spitting up but actually vomiting when they try to administer it, and they have noticed traces of blood and bile. The doctors seem to think it is just an intense refusal to swallow the medication but Bekah would sure love some assurance that there is nothing more going on that what the doctors suspect. Please pray for wisdom and peace for all, and that if the Lord wants her to see a GI doctor just to put her mind at ease or to prod a little further to rule out anything additional that He would go before her in making a way for that.
