COLLINS IN AN OUSTER-FOCUSED CRUSADE TO REMOVE GILMAN As if he has not learned his lesson;President Tillman Collins began an ouster-focused campaign effort in recent days to remove the constitutionally elected co-chairman of the Independent Elections Commissions of the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas. One source base on anonymity confirmed with GGF that Collins contacted a few Chapter Leaders to convince them that Michael Gilman violated his constitutional duty by calling a mass meeting to seek help and justice for his 13 incarcerated brothers. According to the source;once Collins can sell his plot to those handpicked leaders, he will then ask them to petition the National Board of Directors of the GGAA through their board representatives to summon Gilman for his subsequent removal as Co-Chairman. For his part, Gilman downplayed the account and warned that the President could be headed for a pointless fight. “I think he is drowning politically and is expected to grab on any straw just to save his face. My friend and brother still has time to do the right thing by coming clean on the finances of this noble institution instead of drawing attention to himself,” adding that Collins has brought embarrassment to GGAA through his backdoor phone calls which he finds very troubling. Similar request has been made by Secretary Jonathan Gayechuway via an electronic communication approved by President Collins to probe the medium by which Kwame Weeks obtained his information on the release of the 13 Grand Gedeans. In that letter, Collins said the Board acted irresponsibly and vowed not to do business with an implausible body unless it probes into the matter. GGF is yet to receive a citation from Chairman Joseph Dueh on the issue allegedly raised by President Collins. Some political pundits believed Collins has crossed the line and warned that he could be impeached if he continues down this route, citing his deliberate refusal to implement the 5 signatures clause in the GGAA Constitution. Our source concluded that Collins also requested the GGAA Board to ask former Vice-President Isaac Bull Yonly to provide proof that he-Collins-actually made those comments.
