COMING SOON FROM FEA: The Faculty of Education and Arts is hosting a Seminar on adoption of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) in Primary School Curriculum. The seminar under the theme: “Embracing ICT in teaching in Primary Schools” will be held on Wednesday, 26th June at KCA University - Main Campus. The participants include education officers and about 260 primary school teachers drawn from Nairobi County. Key note address will be delivered by Mrs Margaret Okemo – Director, Basic Education – Ministry of Education. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Midamba will highlight the importance of ICT in teaching and learning process. The Faculty has lined up other seminars on this theme with the aim of demystifying fears of adoption of ICT in the school curriculum and to provide necessary support mechanisms for success of the noble idea of the government.
