CONFABULATION FOR TRIBULATION: GOOLACKIAN APPROCH TO NATIONAL QUESTIONS Nations after nations with similar cross cultural background and complex sea of national questions did very well in drawing a road map towards peace and prosperity save our motherland. Our heroes today are no more than tribal or regional champions with nothing in mind but to make themselves rich however stinkingsome is the processes. One has to delve in to the ocean of humanity before you get the likes of BUHARI, CAXTON, KOYE, ABUBAKAR, HARUNA DG, DALUNG, EMANUEL SHEHU AND DAVID WEST! If our majority were like these men of unalloyed integrity, this confab wouldnt have taken place, because it is rather a waste of resource and time. For nearly two decades, we have been practicing representative democracy, why on earth should Federal Government initiate a conferance that bastardise the parliament made up somewhat by the will of the entire nation? Of what benefit is the national assembly if it can not tackle national issues and address them squarely? We should think twice of doing things that reduce us to laghing stocks in the commity of nations. The composition and function of the purported conference was non but to plant the seeds of discord and disintegration. True national leaders with Nigeria in mind should brace up for the huge challenge ahead as Goodlack has taken it upon himself that THE SWEAT OF OUR HEROES PAST shall be in vain. God save nation.
