CONGRATS to Southridge Alum, Elyse Fleck (2011), on a great finish to her volleyball career at Lynn University! So proud. Fleck emerged as Lynns primary offensive threat out of the gates and held the role all season. The Tigard, Ore., native finished the campaign ranked sixth in the conference in kills, with 3.01 per set, and ninth in hitting percentage, with a .317 clip. In Lynn history those numbers rank third for kills per set and eighth for percentage in the 25-point set rally era (2008-present). We are so proud that Elyse [Fleck] is recognized for her tremendous season, head coach Lynze Roos said. She has worked hard through her four years at Lynn, so to have her finish her career with this honor is very special. The Sunshine State Conference is filled with amazing players, and it is truly an honor to have our peers acknowledge the impact Elyse had on our team. Elyse became our go-to player this season, and it was pure joy to watch her deliver time and time again. She is an amazing teammate and remarkable student, and we are grateful for all she did for us this season.
