CONGRATULATIONS to robbie lawler and matt brown for an awesome performance in the main event las night. the fans won that one. eventho robbie took the decision, matt brown, coming off of a 7 fight win streak, showed he IS one of the best in the world.... GREAT CARD. Now looking at my one of my favorite fighters - Matt brown obviously had a tough weight cut(1.5 lbs away from the 171 lbs he shoud have been)...hence why he appeared fairly gassed mid-fight. If the cut had went smoother, i guarantee u that this fight would have went alotttt differently. Matt brown is one of, if not the toughest guy in the UFC. Matt lived and still Lives up to his nickname...the immortal. He showed TREMENDOUS heart and went the distance (while always looking for the finish and fighting with a broken right hand from rd 4 on) with the # 1ranked contender ruthless robbie lawler. also i believe, there is no one in that welterweight div. that can finish brown either. if the # 1guy cant, no one can. He DEFINITELY moves up in the rankings, even with the tough loss.... and is now most likely the #2 guy in the welterweight world of MMA. - Moral of the story - Matt the immortal Brown, WILL be back and is still knocking at that door, still being only one win away, from a shot at UFC Gold. #immortal #ufc #FromRockBottomToStardom
