*** CONSISTENCY AND FOCUS! #nj2as #tcot Gun ownership rights activists in NJ and elsewhere (including yours truly) have been all over the map in an effort to assert our rights. This is not surprising given both the overt and insipid attacks by government, the media and other parties interested in infringing upon our right to keep and (especially) to bear arms. We have tried mediation, we have tried lobbying, we have tried demonstrations and protests, and yet the suppression of our basic human rights, supposedly protected by the Second Amendment, goes on unabated. This is why I have personally decided to change my approach. Whereas in the past I have mistakenly been open to compromise, that is no longer the case. As long as the three branches of New Jersey Government continue to conspire to suppress our human right to defend our lives, our families, our vital property and our freedom, there *IS* NO ROOM FOR COMPROMISE. In a state where the right to carry a defensive firearm is met with intimidation and incarceration we must be consistent in our message. WE WILL NOT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS THAN AN UNENCUMBERED RIGHT TO DEFEND AND PROTECT OUR LIVES, LIBERTY, FAMILY AND PROPERTY - PERIOD! Anyone who stands in the way is the enemy regardless of whatever OTHER political position they might take. There *IS* no freedom without the freedom to defend! That is why I am calling upon all my brother and sister activists to maintain a consistent message of NO DEFENSE - NO VOTE and NO PEACE. Unless a candidate CLEARLY earns our vote by PROMISING not only support, but more importantly to PROMOTE the right to carry, THEY WILL NOT GET OUR VOTE. That is OUR platform. We will no longer be intimidated by threats of expulsion FROM *OUR* HOUSE by legislators who believe that THEY can set the terms of our freedom of speech and assembly in our OWN CAPITOL, paid for by OUR taxes. WHO IN THEE HELL DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY *ARE*! NO CARRY - NO PEACE!
