CORN TASTING RESULTS ARE IN!!! If you came out to the chile roast festival on Saturday you had a chance to do a blind taste test of 4 different corn varieties grown by some of Utahs top producers. You were not told where the corn came from, you just had to rank the 4 choices from 1-4. We want to share with you who the growers were, and what the results were. We are proud to report that Petersen Farm came out on top! Come to the our farm for the best tasting corn around! 75% of participants rated our corn as either their 1st or 2nd choice. See pics for a data chart. Left axis and stacked column chart show the percentage of scores in each category for each farm. The black line shows the over all score per farm. We try to grow the latest, greatest corn on the market and we select for sweetness and eating quality. Its rewarding to see that our hard work pays off. Thank you to all the participants and to the growers who work hard to produce quality local food for our community!
