COSATU Gauteng to paint and clean tow primary schools in Alexandra, near Sandton Dumisane Dakile, COSATU Gauteng Provincial Secretary, 17 July 2013 The Congress of South Africa Trade Unions in Gauteng will unleash a Mandela Day programme tomorrow, 18th July 2013, by painting and cleaning two primary schools in Alexandra near Sandton; Skeen Primary in Tsutsumani, South Africa Street and Gordon Primary in 3rd Street. We have been overwhelmed with public support and Temple University Student[20 Students] from America have volunteered to partake in the cleaning and painting campaign in respect of the former President of South Africa, Dr Rolihlahla Nelson Mandela. COSATU in Gauteng will assemble at COSATU House from 07h30 and depart to Alexandra at around 08h00. Members of the media and the public are invited to participate to contribute to the education of our communities. The main activity will resume at Realogile High School, in 15th Street next to Alexandra Police Station with formalities as per the attached programme below: NB: After the formalities at Realogile High School, all different school groupings will depart to resume with actual work.
