COULD what this article (click picture to read) is about be another sign that the times are changing - back to where we were before the recession hit the country so hard in 2007? If so, what year before the 2000 boom? 7 long hard years later, what still hasnt ended for many. Predictions in 2007 that it could last 5, 10, 15, even 20 years. What many have said mirrors the devastation of The Great Depression (1929-39), the deepest and longest-lasting economic downturn in the history of the Western industrialized world. A 12,200+square-foot home w/pool,10 bedrooms, 13.5 baths, built in 1998, selling July 2013 for $4.137 million - totally demolished to rebuild a new home on the 1.07 acres. Granted, most people dont have this kind of money to spend, let alone a weeks worth of demolition costs, then the cost to rebuild. Many with this wealth dont acquire what they do by investing and spending poorly. As much as I hate to see beautiful properties destroyed, reading about this extreme demo makeover actually brought a smile to my face. As to the Great Recession, chin up, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. ~ As said in this short 3:37 video, keep going forward and reinventing things...
