COURTESY POST HUCK HUCKLEBERRY BLUE - 4 year old male Treeing Walker Coonhound - Huckleberry Blue, aka Huck, loves people, loves other dogs, and just loves being a good dog! Until recently we believe Huck was kept outside and possibly used for hunting, but he has embraced indoor life and is definitely excited to be a family pet. He is quickly picking up house manners and loves his crate. Huck would be a great dog for a family, he is a gentle dog that loves attention, loves to play and loves going on walks, although he can pull a bit on the leash, but hes working on it. He is eager to please as well, and is a champion snuggler. Huck will also make sure your floors are clean and treats will never get lost in your house - he is an expert treat finder. Like most hounds Huck will follow his nose and therefore he needs a very secure fence (he climbs!) and cannot be off-leash.
