COVERED BY THE BLOOD. A child of God is protected by the blood of His own son. Sent to die for all my sins, and all the bad that I have done. Watching over me day and night, helping me along the way. This narrow road is hard to walk, many wonder off each day. Prayers keep the soul charged up for all the trials ahead. That flame inside means I don’t need to hide, or be burdened down in dread. The blood that covers me may not seen by the human eye. My Lord knows the name of everyone that this blood has been applied. He weeps when we are burdened and fail to give Him praise. So eagerly awaiting for us to cry out to Him, “Lord Take This Burden Away!” Trials are nothing in His eyes, He’s greater than anything. I’ve known His love so many years, He’s closer than a friend. When we pray the Devil trembles for He knows this power is real. He may be wicked but He’s no fool, hatred for mankind is all he feels. Cast from Heaven centuries ago for being ugly in the eyes of God. Free to walk the earth below an catch those who wonder away from the flock. Covered By The Blood of the Lamb that’s where I want to be. Safe inside the ark of hope that God has given me. I long to see the Streets Of Gold and walk on Holy Ground. I’ve come to far to turn back now, Heaven is where I’m bound. The sword I carry may not be seen when people pass me by. But Satan knows I carry one, I’ve lifted it towards Him so many times. Each time I’ve knelt before the cross and cried out to my Lord in pain. His Angels rushed to comfort me and filled my soul with peace again. Be covered by this blood and you’ll know the way I feel. Once covered you’ll have no room for doubt, and you’ll know this way is real. Study the Bible everyday and follow the Scriptures as they guide your heart.
