CREW AND CASTING CALL Production Title: Reach Production Type: Independent / Student (for a competition) Paid / Unpaid: Unpaid Project length: Short Film (60 seconds) Location: Houston, Texas Shoot dates: one day in the week Mon 29th Dec 2014 to Sun 4th Jan 2015 (shoot should only last a few hours as it is a 2 page script, date and specific location will be finalized based on everyones convenience) Previous work as an actor: youtube/playlist?list=PL8D7012A3ED4F6405 (or click on the link below) Crew: 2 camera-persons (includes 1 DP) 1 sound-person 1 editor (other crew members for make-up, set-design etc. are welcome to get in touch) Synopsis: A budding actor gets an advice from a film star he interviews at the red carpet of an award function (like Oscars). Whether/how he achieves his goal, depending on the advice, is the conflict that we resolve in the film. Character Breakdown: Homeless man - middle age man, any ethnicity Old woman - should look like more than 60 years old, any ethnicity Little girl - should look like less than 10 years old, any ethnicity but same as her moms Little girls mom - middle age woman preferred, any ethnicity but same as the little girls First-time actors are welcome too, please email your headshots and resume (karan.khokar@yahoo).
