CREW CALL The Carnal Killer is in need of a crew! Synopsis: A casual conversation about murder and method with a new friend, launches Carlton on a mission to find a killer, who he suspects is offing celebrities at the height of pleasure... That is, until he discovers that killer might be his new friend. Era: Modern, with a 40s feel. Influences: Coen Brothers, Twilight Zone, Old british sketch comedy. Style/tone: Dark Comedy/Farce Were looking for: PRODUCTION DESIGNER(S) A talented Production Designer that knows how to milk a small budget. We have 4 scenes to shoot next weekend. A serial killers dark room, a New York newsstand, an obsessive compulsive mans living room, and a collectors apartment. Copy/credit/meals GAFFER AND 3 GRIPS Our next shoot days are gonna be rough as we have a lot to shoot with a limited amount of time, and were in desperate need of some solid teammates that can help us with lights and camera. Please join us. Copy/credit/meals/gas GRAPHIC DESIGNER(S) Newspapers are a central aspect of the film, as they are the way in which our hero figures out who the serial killer is. The film is a comedy, so the newsprint is intended to be fun. For example, one of the articles is entitled Sam Weatherby, star of Frontier dies in the saddle. We are in need of someone to help spearhead the design of the Daily Dispatch, as well as help with photos of dead victims that died at the height of pleasure.
