CRIW CELF BACH GWYNEDD BOOK A PLACE TODAY! New art club for children aged 7 to 11 years old We are pleased to announce that Criw Celf will be expanding it’s provision to include children aged 7yrs and upwards. Criw Celf has provided master classes for children and young people since 2008 and we are now looking forward to developing our work further by establishing art clubs called ‘Criw Celf Bach’. ‘Criw Celf Bach’ will be open to children aged 7yrs to 11yrs and will offer children an opportunity to create art in the company of professional artists during monthly art workshops in arts venues. The sessions will offer children an opportunity to experiment with art materials, techniques and themes in a playful and fun way. ‘Criw Celf Bach’ clubs will be set up across north Wales and in Gwynedd three clubs will be established in the following venues: • Arfon area – Gwynedd Museum & Gallery, Bangor • Dwyfor area – Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw, Llanbedrog • Meirionydd area – Theatr Harlech, Harlech Children can stay members of ‘Criw Celf Bach’ whilst at primary school and then they will be offered the opportunity to continue with developing their artistic skills when at secondary school by joining the ‘Criw Celf’ scheme which offers it’s members the opportunity to attend a programme of art master classes. ‘Criw Celf Bach’ membership fee is £35 for 10, 2hr long workshops during 2013/14. Art materials will be provided. Come and experiment, enjoy and learn! The programme is funded by all North Wales local authorities and the Arts Council of Wales.
