CRW officer Selesitino Kalounivale was implicated by other rebel CRW soldiers who were caught and questioned in the culture of the Special Forces. It was revealed that Kalounivale was home during the time of the mutiny but he was fully involved in the plan. His job was to secure the main gate. Selesitino Kalounivale would be a free man if his workmates did not reveal his name while they were interrogated by the Special Force. He was suppose to only act once the civilians from the Province of Naitasiri arrive to help in the take over. Ten minutes before the arrival of the civilians at the main gate, a vehicle was suppose to pick him. It was told that he was supposed to be picked up from his home at 1500 hours but when this did not eventuate, he made his way to the Camp. On his way, he was arrested by soldiers and retaliation took place. He was locked in the Central Police Station but a police officer allowed him to escape. After his escape from Police custody, he came to QEB fully armed. He was arrested. A rebel CRW officer Selesitino Kalounivale was armed and tried to escape. However he was arrested by the Quick Reaction Force Unit at the main gate. Arresting an armed rebel is not easy. He was ready to kill anyone who comes on his way. He was trained to kill. The quick Reaction Force Unit acted and brought him down. In the process he physically hurt some officers during his arrest. He was well trained to fight and during his arrest, he attempted to kill them. This created a retaliation situation and eventually, the rebel soldier of CRW Unit was defeated and later on, he gave up his spirit.
