CRY LOUD MESSAGE: A little different from my usual posts, but first the natural and then the spiritual - this video proves a point we all can understand and God would use it to send His message. Just hear me out. Guess old man champ was not a chump and he proved it with just one punch. Its the young punks that are the real chumps, thats why they need guns cause they cant fight. Im not condoning violence, just telling the truth. Maybe some of these real men out here (daddys, uncles,family friends, whomever know these guys) need to rough um up a bit - physically and psychologically - let them know they aint running nothing. But, unfortunately parents/people are afraid of these thugs and have lost control. Fess up you all. But the Bible says, If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son (or daughter) who will not obey the voice of his father or mother and who when they have chastened him will not heed them ... bring them to the elders of the city so they shall put away the evil from among you ... (Deu. 21:18-21). It takes a village of caring, not fearful citizens to help raise a child - before the governmental authorities have to step in. This is a sad state of affairs, but the Bible warned us about all this lawlessness. I know all the cliches: violence begets violence; you live by the sword you die by the sword; but I also know when theres a will theres a way; and God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of love, peace, and a sound mind. There are those men out there being real men (organized groups ministries, individual/personal actions ) trying to reach these lost young men - I salute you. The protests arent doing nothing, but the village will. The parents need help, the kids need help, they need God. My question is this - what are we really doing in our own hoods, with our own children and parents - its our job - Gal. 6:1-5; and in that it gives clear directions on how to help, read it; by making them accountable. Now whos willing to do it. I know what Im doing and going to do. You see its even more personal now because two weeks ago two car loads of teens started shooting at each other right in front of my house, 7 gun shell casings found on the ground, and by Gods grace I was at a Homegoing and none of the bullets hit my house. And just last weekend on the next block east a cops son, you hear me, a cops son who decided to hang with the thugs got killed by them right in front of his house. (What does this tell you). And theyve committed 2 armed robberies behind my home - Im the corner home. Other than work with CAPS, minister to the kids I can, Im on the mission to reach the parents because everything stems from the home. It may be too late for some, but I know God says he desires that none perish; but there is still hope if we just decide to quit complaining, passing the buck, and step up and be men/women with a purpose from God. And of course God needs to deal with the authorities to change the attitudes - turning the hard hearts to hearts of flesh. Selah! with James Reed and Mikkal Harris.
