CU Boulder Chancellor: A Renewed Commitment to our Campus Thank you for expressing the concerns that many of us on campus have Chancellor DiStefano. Unfortunately, your video does not explain how CU Boulder is going to work with its students and staff to become a culturally competent community. Having a friend who is Black, Asian, Persian, etc. is not being a culturally competent person. It does not mean you are not racist or have prejudice views. When will it be a core requirement to take an Ethnic Studies course in which faculty, staff, and students can learn about other cultures? This creates an open environment that welcomes discussion and addresses any prejudices that someone may have. As a student and human being, I call upon our university, the University of Colorado Boulder to make our campus a more inclusive campus. This means allowing our voices and ideas to be heard. Lets include all students of color in this discussion Chancellor Phillip DiStefano. https://youtube/watch?v=RMhBQzFtv5g&feature=youtu.be
