CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK Are you hardworking, well-mannered, motivated and customer service oriented individual who thrives on new challenges? Explore this exciting new opportunity to join one of our valued clients as Customer Service Clerk. Requirements: • Possess at least a high school diploma; post-secondary education is an advantage • Preferably with two (2) years combined experience in customer service and office administration gained from a fast-paced service or corporate environment • Strong business acumen, high entrepreneurial sprit and passionate in generating revenue and income • Very efficient, flexible, take responsibility and initiative in supporting organizational goals and objectives • Familiarity with Caribbean market and environment is a plus • Quick learner who can easily obtain a good knowledge of the company’s products and services • Proven track record of working under pressure and handling multiple responsibilities with tight deadlines • Understanding of Mail Merge and proficiency in MS Office Suite and Internet technologies • Impressive record of attendance from previous employment; extremely punctual • Mature disposition, self-motivated with professional and proactive attitude • Effective team player with pleasant phone demeanour, welcoming personality and superior customer service skills • Typing speed of at least 50+ WPM Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Administrative Manage magazine inventory and other related supplies Pack and arrange magazine for distribution to subscribers via mail Provide clerical support to Office Manager and other employees when assigned Execute word processing jobs Send out regular direct mail to existing clients and new prospects using mail merge or outlook Perform reception relief Sales & Marketing Support Confirm receipt of magazine issued to subscribers Process orders and document as appropriate Track order status and inform Team Leader of any problems or discrepancies Assist in organizing and coordinating networking functions and activities as a way to promote products and other services; set-up venue and refreshments Call clients to follow up orders Invite and convince individuals or company representatives to attend networking sessions; schedule/book appointments as necessary Offer products or services via cold calling or in-person selling Check with existing clients for referrals Get feedback from customers to improve delivery of service and quality of products Salary: TBA Location: North York, ON Please forward your resume and cover letter to: [email protected]
