CUSTOMERS OF THE DAY: The percussion troop from Israel known as Jaman Production (גאמן הפקות - Jaman productions) stopped by Vics to hang out and do some shopping. They are in Chicago to perform at this years Israeli Jazz & World Music Festival. Our Percussion Showroom proved to be the groups favorite of our nine showrooms. They practically spent the entire afternoon playing in there and boy did they sound good! These guys can PLAY! The group picked up some gear that included a GON BOPS Small Talking Shaker, a Meinl Percussion 100% Beeswax Mouthpiece for a didgeridoo, a Meinl ABS Hand Held Tambourine with Aluminum Jingles, a Toca Percussion Didgeridoo, and a Meinl Black U.F.O. Shaker. The Israeli Jazz & World Music Festival runs from May 6th through May 17th at nine different venues throughout Chicago. Each of the performing artists reflects the multicultural mosaic and collaborative spirit of Israel. The festival highlights the global hospitality and international cultural scene in Chicago.
