CYBER HATE- A SOCIAL MEDIA OFFSPRING Policing discursive violence in a cyber-environment must prove impossible, because interpretation and interactivity are far more flexible and abstract than with embodied violence. It has plausibly given impetus to cyber hate. At every medium of social media I regularly witness such hatred, whether misogynist, homophobic, and racist; for example, hatred and patriotism pages and groups on Facebook are flourishing at a pace of one page/minute. I am being added per day by some page creators or group admins that aim at maligning some religions, some castes, and some countries. One is bound to read, watch and share such media formats. I wonder where this inexorable march of new technology is moving. At one side we implausibly crave for peace, on the other, leaving no stone unturned to instigate hatred and chaos. #CyberHate #Peace #Violence
