Cabinet Sub-Committee discusses creation of new Administrative Units SRINAGAR, JULY 31: A meeting of Cabinet Sub-Committee, convened to discuss the recommendations of the Sub-Committee with regard to creation of new administrative units was held here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Tara Chand. The meeting decided to invite objections/suggestions from the general public, which should reach the General Administrative Department within 15 days. The meeting was attended by the Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, the Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Minister for Agriculture Production, Minister for Higher Education, Minister for Planning and Development and Labour Employment and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. Secretary GAD Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad was also present in the meeting.
