Call for Audition 1. Namat theatre is planning to perform its new production in Cairo during the first half of January 2015. We need a number of actors to play different roles in that production. The rehearsal process is planned to commence from W/C 5th December 2014 and will last for four weeks, through which the rehearsals will be held on daily or semi-daily basis. 2. The rehearsal process will progress through different concurrent working teams. Therefore, there is flexibility about timing / schedule of rehearsals (day, noon, evening, night etc) 3. The performance will be in the period from 6 January to 10 January, and will be performed for 2 nights through this period. Exact dates to be confirmed in due course. 4. The performance will be delivered in classic Arabic. It is mandatory for each auditionee to speak fluent classic Arabic. 5. Namat theatre strongly believes in the freedom of expression and speech. Therefore, it seeks to work with open minded artists. 6. Namat is an independent theatre group, which means that its productions are all self-funded and not supported by any governmental authorities or private corporates. Therefore, we depend mainly on volunteers to take part in our projects. However, we welcome all actors from different backgrounds. Our current cast includes independent artists, volunteers and, under special circumstances , paid artists. Namat discourages the amateur – professional classification as it sees professionalism is related to the actor’s ability to deliver the required performance to meet the company’s and audience’s expectations and his/her ability to commit to the industry values. In that sense, all our actors, either they are volunteer or paid, must be professional. 7. The following actors are needed: 7.1 Actor (Male): Age is between 40 and 55 (it is ok if he is slightly younger but not younger than 35). The auditionee should be well built and taller than 170 cm. 7.2 Actress (female): Age should be above 40 (it is ok if she is slightly younger). There is no upper limit to the age of that role 7.3 Actress (female): Age is between 30 and 45 years. 8. The audition will be held in Emd Al Deen studio on Monday 2 December to Thursday 5 December from 7pm to 10 pm. Audtionees are advised to communicate with Studio Emad AL Deen to confirm their attendance in advance. إختبار آداء 1 - تنوي فرقة نمط المسرحية إنتاج عرض مسرحي في القاهرة في النصف الأول من شهر يناير 2015 ، و تعلن عن حاجتها لعدد من الممثلين لأدوار مختلفة في هذا العرض . سوف تبدأ البروفات من 6 ديسمبر2015 و لمدة أربعة أسابيع و سيتم العمل خلالهم بشكل يومي أو شبه يومي . 2 - سوف ينقسم فريق العمل إلى عدة مجموعات تعمل في نفس الوقت مما يسمح بوجود مرونة في تنظيم وقت البروفات (نهارا و ليلا) . 3 - سوف يكون العرض في الفترة بين 6 يناير و 10 يناير و لمدة ليلتين و سوف يتم إعلان الوقت المحدد في وقت لاحق . 4 - يتم تأدية العرض باللغة العربية الفصحى و لذلك يشترط إجادتها من قبل كل الممثلين . 5- تؤمن فرقة نمط باهمية حرية التعبير لذلك تسعي دائما للعمل مع فنانين واسعي الافق. 6 – فرقة نمط فرقة مستقلة تعتمد على موارد الفريق الذاتية في إنتاج عروضها و لا تتلقى أي دعم من أي جهة حكومية أو خاصة و لذلك فإن الفريق يعتمد على الإستعانة بمتطوعين من أجل تنفيذ مشاريعه. و مع ذلك فإن الفريق يرحب بالممثلين بكافة خلفياتهم المهنية ،فطاقم الممثلين الحالي يحتوي فنانين مستقلين وفنانين من مسرح الدولة و فنانين متطوعين و قد يقوم الفريق بدفع أجور لبعض الممثلين تحت ظروف معينة (يتم مناقشة ذلك الامر بالتفصيل في إختبار الآداء). 7- تحتاج الفرقة الي الممثلين التاليين: 1- ممثل يتراوح عمره بين ال 40 وال 55 (قد يقل هذا السن قليلا) ، لا يقل طوله عن 170 سم ويكون جيد البنية 2- ممثلة يتجاوز عمرها الاربعين عام، (قد يقل هذا السن قليلا)، ولا يوجد حد اقصي للسن 3- ممثلة يتراوح عمرها بين ال 30 و 45 عام. 7- سوف يتم اختيار الممثلين من يوم الاثنين الموافق 2 ديسمبر 2014 الي الخميس الموافق 5 ديسمبر 2014 من الساعة السابعة مساءا الي العاشرة مساءا في استوديو عماد الدين ويرجي التنسيق مع استوديو عماد الدين بتأكيد الحضور مسبقا.
