Called Landens Doctor yesterday, I had to leave a message for a Nurse to call me back this was at 9:00 A.M. For starters nobody called me back UNTIL ALMOST FOUR IN THE AFTERNOON! I understand they are busy, but seven hours later is unnecessary. I had told the Nurse in the message I left that Landen had been running a fever on and off since Sunday, and I figured it was just teething because he chews on his hands and drools alot. When she FINALLY called me back she said Landens Doctor was not there, but he could see their Nurse Practitioner and that I needed to bring him in IMMEDIATELY because with teething a fever doesnt get as high as 100.2, by this time Im freaking out thinking there is something terribly wrong with my child. When the Nurse Practitioner comes in she says baby hes fine, hes teething I see a tooth and I said well the Nurse told me his fever isnt supposed to get that high when its just teething. She didnt even let me finish and said whoever told you that apparently doesnt need to be working here because they can run a fever of 101 with teething. Needless to say Im not very happy with the Nurse that made me think my child was dieing!
