Calling Scripture: Matthew 28:19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Doing good deeds and works can not save you! Doing good deeds and works, without love, amounts to nothing! But! Being saved is not enough! There are certain commands given to all Christians. Commands, not requests. However it is not orders that we as Christians need to force ourselves to follow! Because we are saved and out of thanksgiving for freely received grace, we can barely stop ourselves from following these commands! If this is not true of your life, you need to question the sincerity of your commitment to your relationship with our Father. The great commission in Matthew 28:19 does not mean we have to literally go around the world preaching! There are numerous ways to become involved!!! But the biggest is our example to all the people who cross our paths daily! Father, thank you for Your saving grace, freely received! Help me to be a shining light, a beacon to all the nations, through my example in the town, the country, You have placed me! In Jesus Name. Amen
