Calling all Gridders. Next Saturday 27th September, Gridder Andrew J Mason will be ably assisting me in a 12 hour cycling challenge, completing as many laps around a Northamptonshire reservoir. I doubt hell be doing the full 12 hours, but I intend to! I will equip him with the pre-requisite scaling tools of a pork pie and jar of lime pickle, together with some form of humiliating fancy dress (of which pics will be posted here) and send him off in search of waterworks oriented grids around the reservoir. I return for this, he will be assisting me in collecting donations and sponsorship for two charities close to my heart, namely Anthony Nolan and Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Having fought and beaten Leukaemia over the past 2 years, I probably wouldnt be here today without the efforts of these charities in finding a cure for my illness and a bone marrow donor to help keep it away.
