Calling everyone, not just photographers, pro, amateur and fun loving, but everyone. There is an opportunity to change the intellectual property and copyright law in this country, the DTI is looking into this and has opened up channels of communication to this effect, but we need to build a very large list of names in a petition. Please take a few moments to follow this link to fill in the petition and to share it with your friends - photographers and others. Its an opportunity to remove a piece of legal dogma that only exists in 2 other countries in the world, and Australia is changing the law at the moment.
