Calling for Impact Accelerator Mentors for innovative SEs in the Philippines! *Program* Impact Accelerator is an intensive acceleration program that helps Philippines-based Social Enterprises (SEs) grow their enterprise and scale their impact. The program provides tailored mentorship and ongoing investment support services to 4 selected SEs over a period of 6 months. The program targets early-stage SEs, which are enterprises that have pilot tested (or are pilot testing) their business model and establishing proof of concept. SEs selected to participate in the program will receive US$50,000 of investment in exchange for 6% equity stake. This investment consists of US$20,000 of seed money and US$30,000 worth of acceleration services. Impact Accelerator is operated by IIX in collaboration with ASSIST. *Mentor Role* SEs selected for the Impact Accelerator program need financial, strategic or tactical mentors to help them grow their enterprise and access funding. Mentoring an Impact Accelerator SE is a fantastic opportunity to apply your experience and business knowledge to support these innovative organizations to reach their full potential. As a mentor you will work directly with an SE, and use your expertise to help the entrepreneur refine their business plan and to address key areas for improvement. You will come away with a better understanding of the challenges facing early-stage SEs and receive hands-on experience in creating solutions. On average, mentors are expected to commit 10 – 14 hours a month per enterprise. This includes a combination of face-to-face visits, online and telephone communications. In addition, mentors may be expected to accompany the Accelerator staff on a Site Visit to the SE in early 2015, and attend Manila- based training workshops in April and July 2015. Mentors must be based in the Philippines. *Required qualifications* Key Skillset. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: business strategy, human resources, operations, marketing, finance, fundraising, accounting or another relevant skillset that can support the selected SEs. Results Oriented. History of and/or passion for supporting enterprises to meet milestones and produce measureable results. Mission driven. Commitment to social entrepreneurship as an alternative path to unlock society’s potential to effect social change. *Compensation* Since Impact Accelerator works with SEs, i.e., enterprises whose core mission is to provide social and environmental impact, mentors are encouraged to provide the above services either on a voluntary basis or at reduced rates. In return, mentors will be profiled in Impact Accelerator marketing materials. *Submission* Please submit a CV and a brief description of your qualifications (including the specific skills/expertise you offer) to accelerator@asiaiix. Qualified candidates will be contacted by a member of the Impact Accelerator team for a discussion.
