Calum1916 Search: from Manager: Hibernian will provide tough test By: Laura Brannan on 24 Jan, 2014 19:01 SINCE Terry Butcher took charge at Hibernian, the Edinburgh side have lost just three domestic matches out of 11. The former Inverness boss has changed things around at Easter Road and Neil Lennon knows they will pose a difficult test on Sunday. Hibs run will have naturally bred confidence through their squad but Celtic have their own consistency to boast of, and as the Hoops aim to stretch their unbeaten run in the league to 22, they will be looking forward to the weekend clash. Neil Lennons side dropped points in the capital this season when they drew their first game with Hibs 1-1, but it was also Celtic who provided Butcher with his first defeat at his new club. Hibs will want to be the team that breaks our run, the manager said. They’ve always had a physical approach. If it´s a physical game then we will look forward to that, and if you look at Terry over the years at Inverness they always had a physical approach, but Hibs have got players who can play as well. He had Mackay, Doran and Vincent at Inverness so I wouldn’t class Terry as a physicality type of manager. He likes his teams to press you and get into your face but he has players who can play there as well. Georgios Samaras and Derk Boerrigter return from injury for the trip to Edinburgh, but the Irishman admitted it is too soon for Adam Matthews. In Turkey he was about to come off and felt a niggle in his calf, he explained. We´re now two weeks down the line so he shouldn’t be too far away. Samaras is fit and available for contention, so is Boerrigter. Stefan Johansen is certainly coming into our thinking. It might still be a bit early for him but he will definitely be in the squad. Meanwhile, the manager confirmed Bahrudin Atajic, has joined Shrewsbury Town on loan until the end of the season, and it´s a move he believes the player will benefit from. It´s a chance for him to play some football. We want him to go down there, do well and get some first-team experience, he said. They´ve changed their manager so Bahrudin´s going into an unknown situation but if he does well he might keep the current manager in a job. It´s a great opportunity for him to get first-team football which is what we want. Stuart Findlay went to Morton this week, so a few of the younger lads are away out getting experience now which is what we want.
