Cam Orr wasn’t the first guy I met when I moved to Launceston in 2006, but he was the first guy that I truly bonded with. It was through my friendship with him, as well Chris Morgan, that Launceston started to feel like home to me, not just the place I had to move to so I could go to college. My mates and I would usually go back home to the coast each weekend, but after a while I started staying in town so I could hang out with Cam. One Friday afternoon Cam and I cleaned my entire house, which was an absolute dump, because there was a small chance some girls might come around that night for some drinks. The girls never came, but we ended up going to another party up the road, talked about said girls and got wasted off goon. I love that guy. He truly is one of the best Ive ever had the pleasure of crossing paths with. I saw him a few weeks ago, we talked for a bit, I hugged him and told him I was really happy to bump into him. I’m really glad I got to do that.
