Came across this blog on net and this was posted by Omar Khaled so all credits to him: WHO SHOULD DEL RIO FACE AT SUMMERSLAM? As we all saw this past week on RAW, Dolph Ziggler was assaulted by Big E Langston after he dumped AJ Lee earlier in the night which means that we might see Ziggler vs Big E at SummerSlam. Now, Del Rio is left with no opponent and people are wondering who he will face at SummerSlam.. Well, here are the people who I think he should face at SummerSlam. 1. Christian: In April 2012, Christian was promised to get One More Match for the World Heavyweight Championship by then-General Manager of RAW and SmackDown, John Laurinaitis. Unfortunately, That never happened and Christian suffered a shoulder injury in September. Now that he is back, I think he deserves a title shot. Remember, Del Rio was one of the reasons Edge retired so Christian can tell Del Rio that he wants revenge for ending his best friends career. 2. Wade Barrett: Barrett has been doing pretty much nothing ever since he lost the Intercontinental title. However, he was involved in the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match and he did a great effort in this match. I think Barrett deserves a title shot because he is very talented in my opinion and what a better way than to give Barrett a title shot since he is doing nothing now. 3. Rob Van Dam: As we all know, Mr. Monday Night returned to Money in the Bank after not being seen in WWE for 4 years. He did an amazing job in the match and he wrestled Chris Jericho in a fantastic match-up on RAW the following night. I think he could have a good match/feud with Del Rio since he is one of the most over guys in WWE right now. Who do you think Del Rio should face at SummerSlam for the World Heavyweight Title?
