Came back from hiking and camping this weekend in the northern reaches of Texas Hill Country. Warm 70s+ days and 39 at nite. Texas primitive parks are great - a marker post on a game trail and in the hill country lots of limestone to scramble over. Had no idea I ended to be a mountain goat to get to the falls. Thank goodness for good hiking boots. Falls didnt have a lot of water due to the drought but beautiful micro climate. The pic on the right is a cave we climbed down into and explored. The larger cave on site was closed to protect the bats.
